What would the world be, once bereft of wet and wildness?
Let them be left, O let them be left, wildness and wet;
Long live the weeds and the wilderness yet.

open for business
I just wanted to check in with everybody and let you know that this blog is still functioning. It’s down to about two out of six cylinders right now (okay, one) however, due to the impending bar exam which Mary Pat and I are taking in about 5 weeks. Too much studying doth McDowell a dull blogger make. Plus we’re living in a small house in the country about 20 minutes south of Montgomery, and the internet just hasn’t made it out this far yet. In fact, a lot of things haven’t made it out to Lowndes County yet, but thankfully the peace, quiet, and nice sunsets have so we’re ok. Speaking of, have you seen this place? It’s right purty. I’ve posted some pics on Flickr in the “Letohatchee 2006” set, so check them out if you were looking for the slightest pretext for visiting us.
Anyway, I apologize for the doldrums around here of late. Please direct your complaints to:
The Alabama State Bar Association
415 Dexter Avenue
Montgomery, AL 36101

Thanks.
